Wolf Time

Wolf Time

Although its central character is the intended victim of a psychopath, this suspense/thriller is not a voyeuristic exercise in mayhem against women. The focus of WOLF TIME is on what Esther Roth’s near-death experience has to teach her about forgiveness, vengeance and death itself after the prominent Los Angeles psychiatrist is attacked by a man dubbed "the Wolfman" by the media. She recovers and tracks him down, relying on superior intelligence and an atavistic sixth sense triggered by her brush with death. But Esther’s personal vendetta unleashes the beast within, and her final battle is for her soul as well as her life. While filming THE FOURTH DIMENSION, a successful TV series on paranormal phenomena, I met a woman assisting Dr. Thelma Moss, the notable paranormal researcher at UCLA, who actually experienced the incident with which WOLF TIME begins – including the instinctive response which probably saved her life, as it does Esther’s in the novel. While that was the victorious end of the story for Dr. Moss’s remarkable graduate assistant, it’s only the beginning for the fictional Esther Roth.
