Let me share my WEIGHT LOSS STORY: I struggled with weight loss, weight gain, and keeping myself healthy in general. I found that the key to losing weight and keeping it off through a healthy lifestyle lies in one thing: motivation. More specifically, motivation that is distributed throughout the journey to achieving health through exercise and nutrition. I always thought that being disgusted with myself was enough to keep me motivated and reach my fitness and weight loss goals. I truly believed that if I was unhappy enough, the change would come. I tried everything over the years: fad diets, gym memberships complete with personal training, workout campaigns that promised results, and embarrassingly enough, more diet pills than you could count. Nothing ever worked for long. I always assumed that I had chosen the wrong avenue. Even the healthiest of diets and exercise routines failed. I fired three nutritionists and four personal trainers because I felt like they had not done their jobs. I figured that all the methods I had tried were not for me. I would gain more weight back (or at least how much I had lost) after each failed venture. I assumed that I had just not found the right fit. Either I had picked a scam, hired someone inexperienced, or just not found that magical thing that was going to make me successful in losing weight, becoming physically fit, and achieving overall wellness. Little did I realize, that the change needed to be in me, in my brain. I had to change the way I approached my goals. I was my own downfall, while at the same time I was the person who could make me successful...
