Absolute Darkness
by Tina A. O'Hailey

Tina O'Hailey is a mild-mannered mother of two who seeks respite in the mountains with her family, on a bluff, overlooking a wooded valley. Her education includes a BFA in computer animation from Ringling School of Art and Design. She also holds an MSCIT degree in object-oriented programming from Regis University. When not wearing flannel and jeans, she can be found wandering the halls or teaching in the classrooms of Savannah College of Art and Design. She currently is the associate dean of digital media, entertainment arts, and SCADFILM training division for SCAD's Atlanta location. At heart, O'Hailey is a professor and still teaches animation and game programming every chance she gets. Her current hobbies include writing, caving, motorcycles and baking. Having nearly drowned at ages 3 and 11 (never told Mom about that one), she does not cave dive. If you are interested in caving or cave-diving, please make sure to become educated in the sport. It is a dangerous sport where even the most nominal injury or poor weather can become life threatening. Read more here: caves.org/.
